Sophomore Corbin Ruthardt lands after he finishes long jumping at the Lefors Pirate Relays on Friday, March 3. Junior high also competed on Thursday, March 2 in the Lefors Bandits meet. For the first track meet of the year it was scary to me, seventh-grader Payton Trevino said. But, it was really fun at the same time. Click the links under the photo for complete results.

The new activity bus is not here yet, but its already sporting its new paint job. The vehicle is expected to arrive soon. Im excited for the new bus since it will be bigger, nicer and ... a lot more comfortable, sophomore Cayden Lambert said.

District play ends tonight for both varsity teams. Tonight, Feb. 10, the Tigers will play Lefors at 5:30, there, and the Tigerettes will play the Shamrock Lady Irish, at 7, in McLean. Tonight will be the Tigers last game of the season, and the Tigerettes will be playing for a chance in playoffs. Im both nervous and excited for tonight, senior Caroline Britten said. Its gonna be a very big game for us.

Senior Carson Ritter goes up for a layup. The Tigers won their game against the White Deer Bucks. We played our best game of the season, and we got big win, freshman Whitt Ward said. I was happy that we won because that means we still have a chance of getting into the playoffs.
