Today the eighth graders received their desk privileges back in math teacher Kylee Armenta's room. They have been standing to work for more than a month since some behavioral issues brought about this unique disciplinary measure.

Regional Cross Country qualifiers invested in a little friend this past weekend when they attended the regional cross country meet in Lubbock. Freshman Ginna Miller and junior Jamey Germany bought a hermit crab.

Freshman Ginna Miller and Junior Jamey Germany will be headed to the Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Oct. 29. These two Tigerettes earned their tickets to regionals after Miller placed eighth and Germany took the tenth-place qualifier spot today, Oct. 17, in the District 2 1A Meet held at the Country Club in Shamrock.
