Amarillo Globe News Reporter Kale Steed interviews Senior Carson Ritter at his college signing party this morning, Feb. 17  where he chose to become a Wayland Baptist University Pioneer. According to the WBU website, this university began in 1908 as the dream of pioneers who respected the life-altering value of education. Now it is the the oldest university in continuous existence on the High Plains of Texas, and the place where Ritter found a place to fulfill his dream to play college football.

Finding His ‘Way’ Land

Feb. 17,  senior Carson Ritter will be signing with Wayland Baptist University to play college football tomorrow, Feb. 17, in the GHS auditorium. Ritter plans on going into pre-med and then hopes to get accepted into medical school.
