Dakota Tiffin "a.k.a. Kodi," serves as photo editor for GroomTigerTimes.com and for The Tiger yearbook. Tiffin, a junior and the 16-year-old son of Scott House, participates in One Act Play and Journalism. He considers himself "a personal advocate of journalism." Outside of school, you may see him working at The Stop'n shop. His main hobby is collecting a wide variety of movies.

Juniors Sydney Ritter and Cutter Babcock claim the high scorers spots in the girls and boys programs during the area track meet. Both athletes have placed in every meet this year. In this photo Ritter is competing in the Groom meet, and Babcock is running in the White Deer meet. Ritter earned five firsts, and Babcock took second in the 110 hurdles and third in the 300 hurtles.  They are two of the athletes who advanced to the regional track meet in Levelland on April 27-28. Thanks to all the hard work from all our boys and girls, guys track coach Tony Dodson said.  We have a great number advancing to regionals.

In this game, the boys played White Deer for the second time. The Tigers district record was 4-10. I think the boys improved a bunch, Coach Jay Lamb said. Start to finish. Individual skills got much better.
