Carson Ritter, Editor Emeritus

Carson Ritter is a senior at Groom ISD. He is an active member in extracurricular activities. He has participated in all Varsity sports for the past 4 years and was a member of the UIL team last year. Carson is very active in the FBC and other community organizations. This is Carson's third year in journalism. Carson is starting on both the football and basketball teams in Groom. Carson loves his job and enjoys the challenges of journalism and broadcast.

Smoke billowing from the bus forced players and coaches to call for help to finish the trip home. After the games in Valley, the bus broke down about 13 miles east of town. Mr. Kenneth Payton came to the rescue with the Blue Bird. Here is T&H Towing taking the bus back into town.

Sydney Ritter takes aim for some of her first points in the Ettes final game of the Miami Tournament, which . Ritter averaged 10 points per game for the tournament.  Junior Caroline Britten has also been one of the scoring threats for the Ettes. Britten averaged eight points during the tournament.

Grooms cross country season came to an end Saturday in Lubbocks Mae Simmons Park, but not before three students represented the school with strong performances in the Region 1 meet.
