“True Tiger” Student of the Week: Trayson Corley (7th Grade)-Dec. 16
Congratulations to seventh-grader Trayson Corley for being this week’s “True Tiger” student of the week. Trayson has shown the true character of a “Tiger” by exhibiting kindness, grit, initiative, and hustle in the classroom and on the basketball court. Trayson will be honored during the morning announcements, and he will receive a DQ Blizzard.
Trayson has been selected for being kind, helpful, and respectful to his teachers, coaches, and classmates. “He’s an excellent reader and writer, and he is very creative,” seventh-grade writing teacher Mr. Workman explained. “He once wrote a script and then directed the other students as actors in his play.” Trayson can also be seen helping his teammates as number 3 on the Groom junior high basketball team.
Prinicpal Stephen Vanderpool and the faculty want to honor outstanding students at Groom ISD. If you would like to nominate a commendable student, please e-mail senior Hallie Thompson at [email protected]
