“True Tiger” Student of the Week: Elizabeth Oliveira (4th Grade)-Oct. 14

Congratulations to fourth grader Elizabeth Oliveira for being this week’s “True Tiger” student of the week.  Liz has shown the true character of a Tiger by exhibiting kindness, grit, initiative, and hustle.  Elizabeth will be honored during the morning announcements, and she will be given a DQ Blizzard.

This week’s “True Tiger” student of the week was submitted by elementary reading teacher Mendy Boyd.

Elizabeth is the only girl in a class of five students.  “Liz is always willing to help others,” Mrs. Boyd said. “She keeps the boys organized.” Elizabeth has shown that not only is she great at getting her work done, but she also has pride in her school. “She is one of the loudest at the pep rallies on Friday.” Mrs. Boyd said.

While talking about Liz, many students expressed very positive feelings.  “She has lots of patience,” junior Diana Surratt said. “She is helpful with the younger students.”
