"Totally Uncalled For" is an extra credit opportunity for Coach Black's English classes. Students can write anything from book reviews, to restaurant reviews. "Totally Uncalled For" is completely optional but encouraged for extra credit. It is seen as a good way for students to share their work with their friends and get some extra credit points. "I enjoy the "Totally Uncalled For" board," said Sophomore Kirsten Rice.

Sleepwalking through life, damaged and scared
Wishing and searching for one thing I can’t name
Ugly and destructive, a vessel for the pain
Punishing myself for the things I can’t remember
Paying for ones I can’t forget
They find you in darkness
And lead you to the light
The Lovely Reckless souls that hear your battle cry
So beautiful and broken
Making wrong turn back to right
The world stops trying to destroy you
With weapons forged from the tears gathered from your mistakes
Mending, stitching, sparing the heart that always aches
Forgiving myself for the things I can’t remember
Owning the ones I can’t forget
They find you in the darkness
And lead you back to the light
The Lovely Reckless souls that hear your battle cry
So beautiful so broken
Making wrong turn back to right
