Matt Groening, the creator of the longest running TV show in the U.S, “The Simpsons” which debuted on December 17, 1989 and the creator of “Futurama” which debuted March 28, 1999 – September 4, 2013, comes a new “enchanting” TV show Disenchantment (TV-14) The first 10 episodes are available now on Netflix.

The series is Groening’s first production for Netflix, twenty episodes of the series have been ordered by Netflix, with the first ten episodes being released on August 17, 2018. The show also features most of the same voice actors from “The Simpsons” and “Futurama.”

Set in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the  story of Bean, a rebellious princess, her feisty elf companion Elfo and her “personal demon” Luci. On their journey the trio encounters the likes of ogres, sprites, imps, trolls and human fools.

The series got a 7.4/10 IMDb rating and 65% Rotten Tomatoes. As someone who has loved “The Simpsons” and “Futurama” for awhile, I love Groening take on a different type of show, It has loveable characters, it has an intriguing storyline and its funny throughout whats released so far. I feel like it will take a while to get more viewers and become better mainly because “The Simpsons” and “Futurama” took a few seasons to really get going.
