Fifth-Graders Place with Artwork

Fifth-graders+Ryan+Weinheimer%2C+Jacob+Ragain+and+Gage+Whatley+show+off+their+award-winning+artwork+today+outside+of+Mrs.+Dana+Brittens+class.+The+McClellan+Creek+Soil+and+Water+Conservation+Board+sponsored+the+contest.+Weinheimer+took+first+place%3B+Ragain+placed+second%2C+and+Whatley+earned++the+third+spot.+I+was+surprised+I+won%2CWeinheimer+said.+I+was+surprised+when+I+got+second%2C++Ragain+said.+It+was+cool+to+get+third+because+there+was+fair+competition%2C+Whatley+said.+I+am+thankful+that+I+placed.

Fifth-graders Ryan Weinheimer, Jacob Ragain and Gage Whatley show off their award-winning artwork today outside of Mrs. Dana Britten’s class. The McClellan Creek Soil and Water Conservation Board sponsored the contest. Weinheimer took first place; Ragain placed second, and Whatley earned the third spot. “I was surprised I won,”Weinheimer said. “I was surprised when I got second,” Ragain said. “It was cool to get third because there was fair competition,” Whatley said. “I am thankful that I placed.”
