Jamey Germany rests the day after the 1A District 2 Cross Country meet in Shamrock. Germany placed 10th in the meet, to advance to regionals, which will be held in Lubbock on Oct. 29. “I finally managed to achieve my best time this year,” journalist and runner, Jamey Germany said.

Germany Begins Step-by-Step Progress Toward Regional Cross Country Meet

While running in the blazing sun and chapped-lipped-inducing wind, I finally managed to achieve my best time this year at the district cross country meet in Shamrock on Oct. 17.  After conditioning for two months and earning a medal, today we finally rest. Tomorrow we will continue to hit the pavement and wait for the regional cross country meet on Oct. 29.
