Lending Helping Hands
Students give some lunch time to help out at the community food pantry. Mr. Kenneth Payton coordinated this effort. "Mason called me and said it was a really big truck. We need all the help we can get," Mrs. Aimee Fields said. She and helpers started to look for volunteers. They quickly found enough students to get the job done.

Super Twinkies Twinning on STAAR Week
Sophomore Helena Ybarra and freshman Katie Marshall take a "Super Selfie" yesterday. "This was not even planned!" Marshall said. These "Superwomen" both had to take STAAR English tests this week.

Kinder Celebrates Dr. Seuss Day
The kindergarten class, under the direction of Mrs. Melissa Ritter, has been celebrating the privilege of reading with special activities all week long. In this photo, they are preparing for "National Read Across America Day," which is celebrated annually on March 2, the date of author Theodor Seuss Geisel's birthday. More commonly known as Dr. Suess, Geisel, who died in 1991, would have been 112 years...

Seventh-grade artist Tre Byers says he is experimenting with "Trace Art." He found an image he admired, traced it and added his own splash to create this picture of him as an adult. "Whatever you see good in your life, you can outline it to shape your future," Byers said.

This kangaroo named "Joey Clip"was created while the internet was down. This little guy took a lot of work. The class he was made in will remain unspecified, yet the creators were Nate, Carson and Andrew.

Smoke billowing from the bus forced players and coaches to call for help to finish the trip home. After the games in Valley, the bus broke down about 13 miles east of town. Mr. Kenneth Payton came to the rescue with the "Blue Bird". Here is T&H Towing taking the bus back into town.
